Figen Murray

Figen Murray is the mother of Martyn Hett, who at 29 years of age was tragically killed in the terrorist attack at the Manchester Arena in May 2017.  Figen is now committed to her mission of promoting peace, kindness and tolerance in Martyn’s memory, while also working towards tangible changes that can help ensure no other family has to go through what hers did.

Lee Doddridge

Security professional, former NaCTSO member, Director of Covenant
As the Director of security consultancy firm Covenant, Lee is a highly motivated professional with experience at strategic level within the highest levels of UK Government departments. He has experience as an operational adviser, trainer, and coordinator and quality assurance management of over 280 police Counter Terrorism Security Advisers nationally and internationally.

Dr David BaMaung

Director of Strategic Development, CAMOR
David has previously served for 39 years within the UK police service. For the last 10 years of this he worked in the area of counter terrorism protective security, specialising in insider threat and infrastructure protection. In 2020 he was appointed by Sir John Saunders as a Security Subject Matter Expert to the Manchester Arena Public Inquiry and concluded this work at the end of 2020.

Michael Greville

Michael founded Salvas Ltd a leading Workplace Violence Reduction learning and consultancy company in 2010, as a natural development, following a wide and varied policing career. He helps clients in the public, private and third sectors, advising, training, mentoring and supporting them to deal with workplace violence and critical incidents.

He is passionate about creating Liveable cities and ensuring everyone can enjoy, work and play in the city. Recently he has begun to focus on both sustainability and safety to ensure a bright future for the next generation.

Guy Huckle

Operational Resilience & Contingency Planning Manager, Network Rail
Guy is a resilience management and security professional with over 25 years’ experience in the field. His responsibilities at Network Rail include the operational security of the rail network in mainland UK, resilience planning for civil emergencies and the security of critical infrastructure.

Steve Coates

Chief Underwriting Officer, Pool Re
Steve is Chief Underwriting Officer and a member of the Executive management team at Pool Re. Steve has responsibility for all aspects of underwriting and claims, including exposure management and modelling. Prior to this, Steve spent 12 years at Allianz UK, latterly as Head of UK Property and Casualty. He also spent a year with Allianz Australia in 2005/6. Before that he worked for Independent Insurance for 10 years, ending up as UK property underwriting manager.

Steve McGrath

Head of Information Capability & Engagement (Protect & Prepare)

Steve is a Detective Chief Inspector, the Head of Information Capability and Engagement with NaCTSO and responsible for engagement with business and industry. As joint chair of the Counter Terrorism Business Information Exchange (CT BIE), he works with business and industry leaders to oversee projects delivered jointly by NaCTSO and business.

Paul Jeffrey

Chairman, Perimeter Security Suppliers Association (PSSA)
Paul Jeffrey was a founding Director of the Perimeter Security Suppliers Association (PSSA) serving as its Chairman for the last 2 years. He has a background of over 27 years in vehicle access control and hostile vehicle mitigation and ran one of the first businesses to start impact testing products in the UK.

Henry Havis

Head of Security, ExCeL London
Henry Havis is the Head of Security at ExCeL London, one of the UK’s leading exhibitions and convention centres in the capital. He is responsible for defining and implementing the venue’s security strategy, working closely with a wide-range of stakeholders to keep the venue and wider estate safe and secure. He is also the Chair of the South Newham Community Security Zone and Chair of the Association of Event Venues Security Group.
