Operational Resilience & Contingency Planning Manager, Network Rail
Guy is a resilience management and security professional with over 25 years’ experience in the field. His responsibilities at Network Rail include the operational security of the rail network in mainland UK, resilience planning for civil emergencies and the security of critical infrastructure.

He led the Network Rail operational planning for Brexit and in response to the Covid-19 outbreak. Guy has over 15 years’ operational command experience at tactical and strategic levels. He has also mentored the top leadership team of a Gulf railway company on their business continuity and crisis management doctrine including designing policy and writing tactical manuals.

He currently Chairs the European (Rail) Infrastructure Managers (EIM) Security Working Group where he represents the interests of members at the European Union LANDSEC and RAILSEC expert committees.
