Rick is one of only 172 Security Specialists in the world to be awarded the highest accolade of Chartered Security Professional (CSyP) and he was admitted to the register in recognition of his strategic and operational capability in Protective (Physical and Personnel) security and Close Protection risk management.

Rick is relied on by the board of the Security Institute to deliver the strategic priorities of professionalism to the Institute’s 3600+ members, the security industry and the wider community and forges collaborative relationships with Government departments, corporate and private sector professionals to help enhance the culture and capability of security and safety for the UK. 

He has an MSc in Security Management from Loughborough University.
